Dr. Maali Diab is a pharmacist and the founder of Wasila Al-Mufakir. She specializes in interactive education and developing educational content. Dr. Maali was honored twice as an inspirational woman — locally in 2022 and internationally in 2018 — thanks to her social impact in positively integrating children with special needs into society.
Dr. Maali innovated a comprehensive interactive education system for children with special needs, such as those with autism, Down syndrome, and learning difficulties. This system has proven effective in their positive integration and has relieved the burden on over 2,100 mothers and teachers in educating 5,700 children to date.
Dr. Maali has become a pioneering figure in Palestinian tech entrepreneurship. In addition to her leadership at Wasila Al-Mufakir, she proposed social responsibility projects: one to increase awareness of Palestinian cultural heritage and tourism, and another focused on reducing food waste and promoting a greener society.
Dr. Maali is a mother of two children — one gifted and one with special needs. Her child inspired her to develop innovative educational tools and adopt an interactive teaching approach.
Dr. Maali holds the roles of CEO, founder, and lead trainer at Wasila Al-Mufakir since 2018. Under her leadership, the organization has become a leader in delivering interactive educational solutions that enhance learning quality for children in Palestine, especially those with special needs.
